JOB SUMMARY This role is responsible for planning, ordering and scheduling a wide range of materials to support production schedules in a fast paced manufacturing environment.  The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with the Scheduling and Production Departments to ensure the availability and timely delivery of parts, components and other materials used in the direct production of vehicles. The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with the Procurement Manager of ARI to design a centralized Auto Truck purchasing process including sourcing, vendor selection, quality and performance.  This position is also accountable for implementing and managing the order supply and delivery systems as well as inventory management at twelve geographic locations.  This position will be responsible for managing and monitoring technology systems in support of inventory management, developing ordering policies, installing ‘best practices’ from planning and management perspectives as well as establishing product performance benchmarks.  This position will have 11 Supply Chain specialists as direct reports. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Work closely with the Scheduling Manager to understand work order timing and effectively and efficiently source and deliver required materials for all production work.  Understand supplier and internal lead times to ensure all required materials are available when specific work orders are scheduled for completion. - Determine raw material requirements and status of necessary components to support production schedule working with all departments in the procurement channel. - Design processes so that critical materials are delivered in a just-in-time fashion to minimize inventory hold times. - Responsible for inventory levels, material planning, estimating activities, effectively utilizing available resources to meet plans for production needs. - Manage aged inventory reports for obsolete parts and participate in formulating strategies to minimize financial impact. - Participate in Operations Planning meetings to determine capacity plans and financial objectives. - Other duties as assigned by supervisor. JOB SUMMARY This role is responsible for planning, coordinating and managing the production schedules of twelve distinct facilities to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s manufacturing and assembly process.  The Scheduling Manager will work closely with Sales and Marketing, Order Writing, Procurement, and the Production Departments to ensure customer delivery expectations are met and plant production availability time is maximized.   This position will have seven scheduling specialists as direct reports. Responsibilities will include developing and managing specific scheduling criteria to include labor requirements per order, material timing, aggregated line management workload, and throughput for each location and the management of the system as a whole.  Coordination among all stake holders is critical for this role.  An ability to think strategically and an understanding of business drivers is essential to include the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPI).   DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Plan, coordinate and manage company-wide production schedules to effectively utilize available resources in designing and meeting plans for all customer orders. - Manage plant capacity and proactively react to changes in business levels. - Monitor plant activities and assist with problems as necessary to meet planned production schedules and to ensure product quality standards are maintained. - Assist the Supply Chain Manager to determine raw material requirements and status necessary components to support production schedules. - Responsible for the development, reporting, and execution of company-wide production scheduling, capacity planning including internal level loading, and the development of critical control measures to avoid bottlenecks to production efficiencies. - Manage the and execution of work orders within the ERP system. - Work directly with the Production and Manufacturing teams to review work order status and update plans to ensure customer deliveries are on time and complete. - Maintain time fences and a formal change control process to review all unplanned requests. - Develop Monthly Sales and Operations Planning forecasts to determine capacity plans and balance customer demand with working capital. - Work with Account Management to provide shipment completions and targeted manufacturing dates. - Work with Engineering Department to incorporate pilot requirements into overall schedule. - Maintain standards of performance and comply with all production standards and safety procedures. - Coordinate meetings with customers and the fleet management companies and the Sales Department. - Other duties as assigned by the VP, Operations. Internet/BDC Sales Supervisor Holman Ford Lincoln     Summary: Directly supervises all employees of the BDC and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Holman and manufacturer culture. JOB SUMMARY Implement quality control standards, processes, and controls.  Develop methods for inspection and training.   Assist during client audits, OEM audits, and conduct internal audits.  Evaluate production capabilities and recommend improvements. Assist in developing quality control policies and procedures.  Ensures the quality control system meets customer and company requirements.   DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Manages overall aspects of the Quality Control Department including receiving and final inspections. - Manages QC Supervisors and Inspectors to ensure proper allocation of workforce . - Report Quality results and opportunities for improvement to Operations leadership (Plant Managers, General Managers) at least weekly. - Develops sampling plans, quality standards, and process control instructions for use by manufacturing to monitor and reduce variations. - Leads teams that include customer and/or supplier representatives to identify and permanently resolve problems, and to nurture the customer relationship. - Develops training programs on topics such as inspection techniques and proper documentation. - Identify appropriate training topics for our install technicians, and partner with the Operations team to develop and execute this training. - Review and approve customer and supplier surveys.
